Ive watched multiple tutorial vids on youtube, read posts on the hub and forums, and other sources on the internet. I simply cannot make it past a second step, observing all different sources I have tried all different things i.e.

Extending/contracting pecs in accordance to the step, extending abs to try to straighten out to make smaller steps, messing with ankle positioning, etc. After the second step I'll either fall over, miss the step completely (after messing with it trying something different) or launch myself and make the next step impossible to land correctely. Any help would be appreciated. Thank all in advance.

No amount of digging will help. There's no 'magic bullet' to running properly. You either can, or you can't. And, like 99% of the people here, including myself, you probably can't. Running on two legs is an incredibly complex problem that takes most people over a year just to learn the basics of in real life, so why would it be any different in game?My recommendation: Don't even try running until you're at least a 2nd Dan Black Belt, with a thorough understanding of your tori's major muscle groups and how they affect movement and balance. Before you ask, no, I'm nowhere close to achieving this milestone.
