EarthSiege 2 (install instructions and tools found at above link) Please do not steal these game patches by hosting them on your own site. Link here instead. Metaltech: Earthsiege is a video game published in 1994 on DOS by Sierra On-Line, Inc. It's a simulation game, set in a battlemech, sci-fi / futuristic and vehicular combat simulator themes.
Earthsiege 2 is a much-improved sequel to Dynamix/Sierra’s Earthsiege, and marks the company’s third entrant into the giant robots genre (after Battledrome and EarthsiegeSilent Thunder). As in the first game, the plot is quite mundane: a race of intelligent robots have revolted against their human creators and are trying to kill of the human race and rule the world. Bring on the game, please.Fortunately, gameplay in Earthsiege 2 is excellent, especially with a joystick, but even with only a keyboard and mouse you can still get the hang of it pretty quickly. Most missions still involve killing enemy robots and destroying their bases, but this time the terrain is much more varied, with hills, snow, lava, and buildings to add to the realism. Another great addition is the Razor, an air-capable HERC with solid flight-sim controls (although it has limited altitude). Like in the first game, players can outfit and customize their HERC units between battles. The action is often fast and furious, and the game has one of the best explosion graphics I’ve ever seen.Overall, Earthsiege 2 is a solid giant robots game that could easily give MechWarrior 2 a run for its money, with cleaner graphics and more challenging and varied gameplay.
Foxhole game. Arguably, the lack of official FASA license hurts the game’s sales quite a bit (although the plot and HERC designs are clearly rip-offs). Whatever the reason, the game’s 50-plus missions and strong gameplay will keep fans of Mechwarrior 2 hooked for hours on end. Highly recommended!Review By HOTUD External links.

Stock Dosbox, set cycles to max to avoid stuttering, and then start the usual DoxBox routine by starting the executable. I've played them last year from the disks, and I found no problems.I got the ISOs from the TribeAscend website and I can't run DOSbox on them because they're ISOs. Opening them with Daemon Tools Lite (mounting them so that the 'Installer' file shows in each) doesn't do an good either-DOSbox just says 'invalid command' when I type installer even when I've typed the following on the DOSBox screen:1. Mount d d:DOSGames (where I've put the ISOs)2. Cd earthsiege4. I know it worked a few years before.
Here are some instructions but I don't guarantee anything. Try this shipand these Instructions for the 32Bit Version.1. In the compatibility Administrator, right-click on 'Custom Databases' and select new.2. Right-click on the newly-created database and select 'create new' and then 'compatibility mode'.3.
Find 'EmulateJoystick' and 'GlobalMemoryStatusLie', and add them (by double-clicking)4. Enter a name for the compatibility mode (I used 'ES2') and click on 'OK'5. Right-click on the database you created in step 1 and select 'Create new' then 'Application Fix'6. Enter the name of the application ('Earthsiege 2') and the vendor ('Sierra')7.
Click the 'browse' button next to the program file location field, and find the ES.exe file (on my system, it'sat c:sierraes2es.exe).8. Click on 'next', then check the '256Color' and 'ES2' compatibility modes. Also, if the 'Microsoft Windows 95'radio button is selected, change it to the 'None' radio button.9. Click 'next', then 'next' again, and then click the 'auto-generate' button.10. Finally, click on 'Finish'. At this point, you should name your database something (right-click and select'rename'), and then save it (save button in the toolbar). These worked for WinXP. Publicado originalmente por:No dice.:( It says something about not being compatible with 64-bit systems.
I think you need a virtual OS for this.:( What do you think?Damn. Reddit tells us that the thing should work (if we can trust random Redditors).Plus, the laptop where I got 'em working was running 32 bit, so maybe it's a 64 bit thing. But the comments guarantee there's a way to get them to work.Sorry mate to be of little help. Thanks!
I'll look into that after work. Yes, I do think it's a 64-bit thing.:(.
