Claude scrambles to find a way to kill the woman, who never leaves her closely guarded house. After several complicated attempts (which involve high voltage and flaming arrows), Claude is convinced he has killed her, but discovers that the police have faked her death. Convinced he will be unable to fulfill the contract, Claude quits, only to find the two men who have been assisting him have now been instructed to kill him. After killing the men, Claude finally succeeds in sneaking into the witness's house, but hesitates when he's about to strangle her.
The relief police arrive; Claude attempts to escape but is killed during a shoot-out.Claude The film's main character, Claude, is set apart from the other hit men in the story by his unwillingness to carry a (most of his victims are dispatched in unusual ways) and his casual approach to murder, which he treats as a business. He spends the first several days of his visit to sight-seeing instead of planning the assassination. Claude's casualness comes from the fact that he views men as largely predictable, and for that reason is unwilling to kill a woman (women, in his opinion, are more complicated).Cast. We use a blend of Brewer's 2-row, Vienna, Crystal, Chocolate & Roasted malt to create a deeply rich yet refreshing porter with natural notes of coffee, dark chocolate and caramelized sugar.
Finally, we add a generous amount of cold-pressed coffee to produce what we believe to be the best damn coffee porter in Texas.

for being more than a little bit old, this one still drank really nicely, surprisingly well honestly. the base porter is big and dense, loaded with dark bitter barley and layering up from there with some mid weight crystal providing some sweetness and roundness, and something lighter giving it a fresh bready vibe as well. the coffee is strong in both aroma and flavor, just how i like it, and doesnt seem to have oxidized at all. it has an ashy roast to it, some dark chocolate character, and a hint of raisin with the malt sweetness, really compelling. its crazy to think that the coffee has likely faded, because its still so forward in this, very earthen and charred, but with all the body here its so smooth. the flavor here is long, and as it warms things like tobacco and wood come out of it, bitter from coffee, dark malts, and this raw cocoa thing. super full flavored beer, great coffee too obviously, id love to try a cup on its own. my first beer from these guys was a great surprise, and ill look forward to more of their stuff in the future. this is what coffee porter should be!

Poured 3 cans from the same 6 pack. Each had different levels of carbonation. One was essentially flat. It has a slick mouthfeel with kind of muddled coffee flavors. The coffee comes through on the nose. It needs some work to perfect it.

Appearance: Black glass, mostly opaque with some ruby edges. Tan foam doesn't hold a cover, but a solid halo.
Aroma: Rich coffee and malt, some earthy hop notes.
Taste: Burnt grain, slight Stout sour, coffee, with a little sugary finish that rounds out the package nicely.
Mouthfeel: Heavy body, small chew, low carbonation leaves it a frothy.
Overall: A tasty beer. Goes a bit more Stout than Porter in my book, but who cares? Fairly clean, rich coffee, rich malt, worth a 6 pack to try it out!

on tap at Blackwater Draw (12/1/14)
L: black with 1/2-inch tan head; super dark ruby amber that's clear; super stick on the head but little lacing
S: leather; sweet chocolate, coffee, mocha latte; very soft and subtle, much sweeter than the taste; astringent coffee bean
T: real coffee -- not the coffee-like notes but tastes like the brewer mixed it with coffee; not overly sweet; slight alcohol presence; very burnt/bitter notes (bitter hops or burnt malt?)
F: silky, almost cask-like with little carbonation; light
O: good not great; a little American brown ale/black IPA-like with some super burnt, bitter notes that overtake the sweeter, more traditional stout notes of coffee, chocolate, dark fruits

I swear, this beer gets better with every batch getting brewed. This is one of my all time favorite coffee beers. This was the first beer I had from Blackwater when they first open and it is something I go back to every time I visit. Dark opaque appearance with a rich bitter coffee and roasted malt flavor coming through. This approaches Founders Breakfast stout and that is a huge compliment.

Poured from growler, into pint glass.
Review from notes (12/24/2013).
A: Pitch black, very little tan head. Almost no carbonation.
S: Bitter. Smells of black coffee.
T: Somewhat bitter and dark; dark chocolate and black coffee.
M: Very low carbonation, almost flat, could use more. Thin mouthfeel.
O: Pretty good overall. I loved the bitterness of the coffee, but it could use a boost in the carbonation.
Great first brew from Blackwater Draw. Looking forward to more of their stuff in the future.
